REST API quickstart
Create, send, track and download an envelope from any language.
Every Team plan includes the REST API — no add-on, no separate contract.
Authenticating
Create a key under API, then send it as a bearer token:
curl https://www.signspry.com/api/v1/account \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_..."
Keys are shown once. Rate limit is 120 requests per minute per key.
You can also use OAuth2 if you're building an app other people install.
Creating and sending an envelope
curl -X POST https://www.signspry.com/api/v1/envelopes \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_..." \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"title": "Service agreement — Acme",
"documents": [{"name": "msa.pdf", "content_b64": "<base64 PDF>"}],
"recipients": [
{"name": "Rahul Menon", "email": "rahul@acme.in", "routing_order": 1}
],
"use_anchors": true,
"send": true
}'
Setting use_anchors places fields from anchor tags in the document, so you never compute coordinates.
Tracking
Poll GET /api/v1/envelopes/{id}, or better, subscribe to webhooks and be told.
Downloading
GET /api/v1/envelopes/{id}/document returns the sealed PDF once complete.
Build against the sandbox first. Test-mode keys behave identically but never email a real person.
