Your 14-day trial, and what happens when it ends
What the free trial includes, the emails you get, what the Free plan keeps, and what happens if a payment fails or a year runs out.
Every new account starts with a 14-day trial of the Team plan, with no card. If you do nothing, the account moves to Free when the trial ends. You are never charged automatically, and nothing you have signed goes away.
During the trial
- You get everything on the Team plan: 1,000 envelopes a month, up to 25 people, bulk send, the API and more.
- The top bar shows a Trial · Nd pill. Hover over it, or open Plan & billing, to see when it ends and what happens next.
- The first admin gets emails 7, 3 and 1 days before the end, and one note after it has ended.

Free covers one person, so if several people use the account, choose a plan before the trial ends. Moving to Free by hand with more than one person on the account asks you to remove members first.
Keep your plan
- Open Plan & billing (an admin does this).
- Choose Monthly or Yearly.
- Press Keep Team, or Choose Starter for the smaller plan.
Yearly is one payment valid for a year, with no auto-renewal. Monthly renews until you cancel. See Paying in your currency. To get a GST invoice with your tax ID, fill in Invoice details before you pay.
Usage notices
At 80 % and at 100 % of the month's envelopes, admins get an email, and a banner appears in the app. When the allowance is used up, sending is paused until the month rolls over, you upgrade, or (on Team) you buy an envelope pack. You can switch these emails off under Email preferences on the Password & 2FA page.
If something later goes wrong

| A monthly payment fails | You keep your plan in full for 15 days while the bank retries. Update card on Plan & billing settles it at once. After 15 days the account runs on Free entitlements until a working card is added. |
| A yearly plan isn't renewed | You get emails 10, 5 and 1 days before it ends. After that the account moves to Free and everything you signed stays readable. |
| You cancel a monthly plan | Cancel renewal stops the next charge. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. |
