Templates — set it up once

Turn any envelope into a reusable template, with fields and roles already placed.

A template is an envelope with the paperwork already done: documents, roles and fields in place, waiting for real names.

Creating one

Either build it from scratch under Templates → New, or open any envelope you've already sent and choose Save as template. Recipients become roles — "Employee", "Manager" — rather than named people.

Using one

Choose the template, fill in who's playing each role, and send. Everything else is already positioned.

Sharing with your team

Mark a template shared and everyone on the account can use it. They can send from it but not change it, so your standard NDA stays standard.

SignSpry ships with 61 documents drafted for Indian practice — NDAs, service agreements, rent agreements, offer letters, invoices, society forms and more, with fields already placed. Copy one into your own templates and edit freely.

Each one is a full document — around three pages, 13 to 15 numbered clauses — with every variable written as a [placeholder] for you to replace. See The starter template gallery for what's included and Filling in the placeholders for how to work through one.

Gallery documents are drafting aids, not legal advice. Have a professional review anything that matters — and see our IP policy for what you may do with them.
