The clauses cite the Indian Contract Act 1872, the IT Act 2000, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and the DPDP Act 2023. Money is in rupees. Arbitration is by a sole arbitrator with a seat you choose.

Some specific choices worth knowing about, because they are the difference between a document that works and one that only looks the part:

  • No post-employment non-competes in the HR documents. They are void under

section 27 of the Contract Act. Confidentiality and non-solicitation clauses do the work instead.

  • The Rent Agreement explains the eleven months — section 107 of the Transfer

of Property Act requires registration at twelve — and says plainly that stamping and registration are still your responsibility.

  • The affidavit says it must be sworn before a Notary or Oath Commissioner.

Using one

Press Use → and you get a draft envelope with the document, the signature fields already placed on the execution page, and the right number of recipient slots. Add names and email addresses, edit anything you like, and send.

To keep a changed version, press the pencil to edit the text and save it as your own template. The starter stays as it was for everyone else.

These are starting points, not legal advice. Read the document, replace the placeholders, and have a lawyer look at anything that matters. Each one says as much on its execution page.

Next: Filling in the placeholders.
